Hot Topic! Spring Color Trends
Pantone 2022 Color Trends
There’s no debating with the fact that Pantone are the masters of color theory, with their broad range of fun colors to suit every personality. From brights to neutrals, there’s a hue to suit everyone, and perhaps it’s worth expressing this through your own style. Your clothes may not be something you previously considered coordinating with Pantone’s color trends, but why not?
Seeing as they’re the masters of choosing a color to suit every occasion, why not follow their guides for this season in fashion. If you want to find out more about how you can coordinate your outfits for the transition from winter to spring, read on to find out more.
Outfit 1
For this first outfit, it’s clear it comes with a fun, carefree air to it, perfect for the transition into the spring months. The flowy, bouncy structure of this top makes it flattering but free, perfect for a casual day out. Being 3/4-sleeved, it offers some more protection from the cold as the weather’s still warming up.
For the ideal outfit, pair with some of your favorite, most comfortable jeans, and a pair of white sneakers for a sporty look, or some boots if you’re looking for a rustic chic style.
Outfit 2
As fun as it can be to wear multi-colored outfits with lots of vibrant shades, there’s something about a classic neutral that’s unmatched by any other color. Similar to Pantone’s Perfectly Pale – a classic sandy hue – this beige is a great color to work with.
As in this outfit, a bright fedora fits with this year’s trends in both fashion and in color. Try something like Pantone’s Dahlia, an electric purple, for a beaming contrast.
Outfit 3
While it may seem like the two pieces come from different seasons, a sweater is a great match for a pair of denim shorts. This color is similar to Basil, part of Pantone’s Spring/Summer 2022 Core Classics selection and looks particularly flattering on sun-kissed skin.
Throwing this on with a pair of blue denim shorts is effortless and eye-catching, and a messy hairstyle compliments the outfit for the perfect spring look, finished with a pair of sneakers.
Outfit 4
Finally, the wistful and free-spirited vibe of this dress is perfect for the spring, especially with its floral motif. Somewhat of a grey-ish lavender, its brightness is well-matched for the lively season ahead.
Once again, its long sleeves keep you a little more protected whilst the weather is a bit unpredictable. Pair with some boots, such as in the shade Coca Mocha, by Pantone, a part of their Spring/Summer 2022 New York Fashion Week color palette.
